TRANSITIONS-DREG & DROP IN VV3.0?

Hi: Please help: I have tried to dreg and drop transitions on my time-line as per instructional manual. But can't see the results when I preview. Is there some steps I am missing? Please help. It was simple in VF2.0 I dropped, and result showed in preview. Would appreciate help.

As far as I can tell, the transitions work pretty much the same as they did in VV2. If you explain exactly what you are trying to do, and what isn't working, then someone can probably help you out.

Maybe you haven't done enough of a crossfade for it to show the transition. Try extending the crossfade and you should see the transition icon instead of the crossfade X joining the clips. You can also show the A/B cross by clicking on the button on the left, but that eats up a lot of space on the screen.
