Hello,
I would like to add transitions/effects etc in the middle or wherever I need to have it in a 1/2 hr DV clip (for example). How do I do that without losing a frame when a transition/effect is inserted?
Do I need to cut the long clip, insert a transition/effect in the middle and then append the remaining clip?
Also, I would like to add DV metadata (date/timestamp) subtitle to my MPEG-2 during DVD authoring. I don't want to overlay the date/timestamp on the video but make it as a on/off functionality on the DVD player remote control.
I have read the threads on date/timestamp techniques but how do I enable it as a subtitle during playback on a DVD player?
One last question: Is there way for me to convert a 4:3 NTSC DV video to 16:9 (widescreen) DV video using software techinques? I found that (www.dvfilm.com) claims it can do this. Anybody knows this OR if somebody can look into this?
