transparent graphics in scrolling credits

Is there a way to anchor a transparent graphic (GIF or PSD) to text in the scrolling credits plug in? I have two logos I want to place right next to two people's names and have them scroll with the text.

If not, is the best way to create the text in Photoshop, including the graphics, in one big 720x??? PSD file? Or is there some way more native to Vegas to do what I want to do?

I would create your text with the scrolling text plug, and then animate your images separately to match the scroll rate.

save out .PNG files from photoshop with a transparent background for use in Vegas.

use the track motion, or the pan/crop feature to animate your images in time with the scrolling text. you will be using keyframes to set the first and last position of your image over time. if you aren't familiar with the keyframed animation techniques in Vegas, you can find lots of info in the help file / manual and also check out these tutorials:

It is a little tricky, but you should be able to use track motion or pan/crop to anchor a logo to a Vegas generated credit roll. Make sure you use linear keyframes and set smoothness to 0- this will match the default temporal and spatial keyframe interpolation used by the credit roll plug-in. Ten minutes of tweaking and you'll have it nailed.
