This is not a plug-in but Particle Illusion will do the same as a standalone application. It can composite with your video source or you can output the effects with alpha channel to composite in Vegas. I have the SE version and it works great. I usually output TGA stills with alpha and then have Vegas bring it in as an image sequence. I’ve found this gives the best quality for alpha keying. The best part is, it renders in real-time if you have a good OpenGL compatible graphics card.

Just checked out the site...looks pretty good. Thanks!

Just curious...what types of effects are using this for most oiften?

I use it most often to sweeten title graphics by having a shooting star or something orbit the title (behind, in front, etc.) using layers. It’s strictly eye candy but the kids see this stuff on Nick shows like Jimmy Neutron and so if it’s a video targeted at kids, eye candy is always appreciated. Occasionally I’ll use it for a transition wipes. It’s also great for DVD menu backgrounds. I’ve used the fireworks generators for the ending of celebration videos while rolling credits. It gives a nice festive ending to the video.
