Tried Liquid by pinnacle today

Man are we spoiled by Vegas...

I tried Liquid today to see how the multicam works and over all render process and function. I don't see how the work flow would be faster than vegas. In the video demo they show using the multi cam function by clicking on the time and selceting a camera not real time. Whe I was watching it I said to myself why did he do that. then I tried it. its because the processing to do it real time is slow. I have a decent quad amd opteron system as well.

The work flow was just wierd to me.

So I am sticking with my good friend Vegas. I just need more power somehow. Thought that another platform could do it but it dosen't seem so.

I did the same w/ FCP. Bought a Dual processor G5 & FCP Studio. (I'm not going to tell you the price tag on this little experiment.) Needless to say... I still edit w/ VEGAS.

If you are looking for a great workflow with multiple cameras, check out VASST's new product (It's has been mentioned on this board recently - If you can't find it - ask Spot)..
