From what I came to comprehend that the user manual stated was that when you trim that the source file is untouched, but instead the source is only makered where the cut is selected. If this is true that the file stays in tact, how do I cut the files(turncate) begining & ends to reduce the file size and make more space on my HDD for rendering. Also when & will VV ever have capabilities of seting motion paths other than Straight accross or up & down. I would like to be able to make video rotate as if spining around a ball.

To truncate beginnings and endings you'll need a two-track editor which allows destructive editing. (For example, Sound Forge.)

I'm triming video clips RobSoul. Do you mean Sound Forge will do the trick with video clips?
