Trimmer

This is kind of a dumb question, but I'm using Vegas 6 have started to try out the trimmer. The help guide says I can press I or [ to mark the in point and O or ] to mark the out point...but when I do this in the trimmer it does absolutely nothing and I don't like trying to select my footage by dragging because it's never accurate. Any ideas as to why this is?

i use trimmer all the time and use I and O to mark the in and out points ...then i hit A to add to the timeline at the cursor point...i would assume the Trimmer has focus ... not sure what you may be doing incorrect ...

It doesn't work if you have "Collapse Loop Region" turned on in the preferences.

Thanks, it was just that option turned on. Everything works fine now.
