trimmer difficulties

i've got a timeline marked and regioned. i now want to fine tune individual marked clips in the trimmer, but there seems to be no way to move an individual section of the video to the trimmer. it only works with the entire video file. even this would be ok, but it doesn't keep the markers and regions. is there an easier way to do this?

You're doing things backwards. :) The trimmer is meant to take the entire clip & mark it (like your doing on the timeline) and then you drop/drag it to the timeline to fine tune it (like you wanna do in the trimmer). If you plop the video file into the trimmer, you can make regions & markers just like on the timeline, BUT you can also have these markers/regions saved WITH the video file so that next time you load up the clip everything is already selected.

So, do things the oposite way you're doing them and it will all be good and dandy.
