Can anyone offer a suggestion as to why frames in the trimmer window only animate when I am playing at a speed which is not 100%. That is, the frames animate when I play in slo-mo, or fast-mo, but not at normal speed.
No, not quite. When focus is in the Trimmer window, if I go slo-mo or fast-mo, the frames in the trimmer-window itself actually animate, as if they are playing the video. But at normal speed, nothing happens.
I had noticed this previously, but started checking it out a little further after the last SCS e-newsletter, and the suggestion of making it a single frame so that it would replicate the interface of the likes of Premiere Pro etc, with two displays (one for the main video, and one for the preview - not that I particularly want to use tht set-up).
Still, I am curious as to why it only appears to animate at anything other than normal speed.
I have turned on "Animate video frames in trimmer" in the Preferences->General, and turned off "Show Video in Preview Window" in the Trimmer right-click menu.
Still interested to know if this should work at normal speed.
