Trimmer window not working

MountainSailor wrote on 2/26/2017, 1:21 AM

Hi All,

New Vegas Pro user here. I'm half way through my 30 day trial. (Converting over from Pinnacle) I've been playing with the trimmer window and was just starting to like it. I felt like I was getting the hang of things, but then something went wrong. I must have disabled something.

I can no longer point the cursor to the video window and right click to bring up a menu. The scrub function no longer works either. It appears that nothing happens when i put the cursor in the video window. Everything else appears to work. For example 'j', 'k', 'l', and so on.

Has anyone ever seen this? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

John

Ok, so i figured this out. Sorry to bother all of you.

I could not right click in the video window, but if i moved the curser down to the a certain area of the lower portion of the trimmer window, i could get the necessary right click menu to appear. Then i had to enable the hover scrub feature. This then got everything back to normal. Right clicking in the video window started working again.

Thanks
John

When coming from Pinnacle, I will always advice to start with a trial of Vegas Moviestudio. When after 30 days, there's something that you miss in functionality of Moviestudio then start with a trial of VegasPro. But I cannot imagine that.

Which version and which build of Vegas Pro are you referring to? Vegas Pro 14 Build 211?

Is it possible to download and register trials others than VegasPro 14 Build 211?

Sure. Also you could have downloaded a version months ago but not yet installed.

Thanks everyone! Yes, I'm using Vegas Pro 14, build 211. Enjoying it very much. So much to learn.

I've been watching/reading various tutorials. I like the suggestion above to start with Vegas Moviestudio. I'll try that. I hadn't thought about that one.

Thanks again!!
