Trimming video only

I have included a music in my project and I am trying to trim the video to fit it. The only problem is when I select the piece of video I want to trim and trim it, it removes the music as well. Is there anyway round it so I can just trim the video leaving the song intact.

Click on the clip to select it, then type U to ungroup the audio from the video. You may now trim/move the video independantly from the Audio. Selecting multiple items and typing G will group them back together.
