Trouble "Making Movies"

I am using Screenblast Movie Studio. I am having trouble rendering into Windows Media and Flash. Other formats work just fine. The audio is good but the video turns into a wild solarization image. Not good. I am using a Dell with a ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 display adaptor. I have more than enough RAM and HD space. Any thoughts?

The SWF format caused so many problems that Sony just pulled it from the most recent version of the software.

As for the WMV export, it's always produced terrific results for me. Is it possible your version of Windows Media Player is too old for the codec? You should be running at least version 9.

Version 10 is a vast improvement over previous versions (though I think it's only available for XP), and it comes bundled with Microsoft's new iTunes knock-off software.

If you look this page (at the very bottom of it)
http://mediasoftware.sonypictures.com/Products/showproduct.asp?PID=932&FeatureID=7790
they say that Flash .SWF files are supported by VMS 4.

And if you look a little more carefully, you'll find that it says "import" - meaning it can read the format. It doesn't claim to be able to write the format.

mmmh.....

so, what can I do with my countdown flash file that I'd like to insert in my movie?

second question: where can I find a countdown file supported by VMS4 if I cannot use the ones found here http://www.flashkit.com/search.php?cat=movies&per=10&page=1&field=Description&term=countdown
