I'm having trouble with titles when rendering. When I
render to ANYTHING EXCEPT uncompressed AVI or QT, my titles
become very fuzzy. If titles become unreadable when using
any compression, what good are they? I generally render to
NTSC DV, so that I can print back to mini-DV tape, and then
MPEG in realtime using analog capture card with MPEG
hardware. Prior to titling, this has always worked slick,
with no noticable quality loss when rendering to the NTSC
DV.
I've checked and tried everything with the title images
themselves - dimensions are 720x480, transparent PNG. Same
thing happens when I use VV text generator. Everything
looks great in preview, but rendering destroys it.
Surely there is something that can be done.... or nobody
would be able to title except when using uncompressed files.
Thanks in advance!
