When I was young and foolish or at least foolish, I shot some progressive scan video not realizing that it was only 15 fps. It is of course very jerky. I would like to improve on this video if possible by eliminating or at least reducing the flicker
When I examine the 15 fps frames it is clear that the TRV900 is sending out 2 identical frames to get to the standard 30 fps DV. If, for example, I could replace all the even numbered (duplicate) frames with interpolated frames then I should get a video with less flicker.
Question 1: Am I crazy to even consider this or there some processing around that would do the trick?
Question 2: If there is any processing out there, would it take a year to process a 10 minute video?
