trying to author a dvd

I am trying to author a dvd using a menu system with the following file

File 1- 315 mb - 41 mins - 720x576
File 2- 81 mb - 9 mins - 720 x576
File 3- 225 mb - 21 mins - 640 x 480
File 4- 70 mb - 6.5 mins - 720 x576

All the videos are in wmv format. but the dvd does not seem to work. The menus i created etc dont seem to work. All the movie files are on the disc and playable but menu system doesnt work. Am i doing somehting wrong?

When you say the videos are in wmv format – can you elaborate? For a DVD the video files are MPEG2. You can take a wmv file into DVDA and have it recompress it as MPEG2, is that what you mean? If so, then it shouldn’t matter what size or properties the original files were.

If you somehow have wmv files on your disc, I don’t know how you did this with DVDA, and it would not be a DVD-Video.
