Trying to install Vegas Pro 18 Edit.

Hi guys, I hope you will be able to assist me. I have bought myself the VEGAS Pro 18 Edit as part of a recent Humble Bundle. I have been trying to download it using the official downloader but it keeps pausing for some reason. Is there any direct download link to use?

My internet is great. Thats a first time having such an issue.

It stays at 0% and pauses. I click on continue and pauses again some seconds after.

If you are using the Chrome browser, some experienced problems with downloading via Chrome - in which case try another browser.

Hi, thanks you so much for at least answering me.

And I dont want to be rude, but as you can see, I already downloaded the installer.. the issue is that the installer needs to download the actual software and doesnt want to even start doing so before pausing itself, as you can see in the picture I posted. I can click on the "continue" button, but it will only give some seconds to the installer to pause itself again, with no change at all...

By the way, the link you provided is the correct one and that is exactly where I found out where to download the installer, but it doesnt help with my issue, unfortunately.

@Thibault-Guay Try temporarily disabling your security software especially if you are using Windows Defender. Some users have had it interfere with downloads.

Have you actually selected what you want to download? There are two programs listed, neither of them are selected. If you select nothing and click continue, you are telling your computer you really don't want to download anything. So, select the two programs and then click continue.

Yes indeed, both are selected, if none was selected, It wouldnt start for it to pause itself.

That was the solution as now it is downloading and not pausing, thanks a lot!
