Trying to record onto a track............

I have Vegas 2.0 and I'm not able to record any audio onto the tracks. I can pull up a file and put it into on track but then when I open up another empty track i get a input record reading but when I push record it just starts and rolls but never record anything. And also why am I not able to pull up .wav files into Vegas. It's only letting me pull up mp3's intot the track, am I just dumd or what.....OH i have the record and play feature enabled to so..........

have you tried re-installing Vegas?

Yes I've done it like two times already so I'm stummed and bout ready to convert to Logic or something else if the staff can't help

Sounds like Vegas is not installed correctly. All file type support in our apps are through "filters" that get installed when the app is installed.

Call our tech support. They can walk you through it.
