TSN to Vegas

I recieved a DVD from TSN in Toronto that downloads great into Vegas, but when I rerender it to MPEG the Video is blurry. I have Vegas 6, Is there something I am not doing?
I am to play it in with more video in a menu DVD tomorrow night.
Any help would be appreciated. I have to go out for the rest of the day so will look at any suggestions later tonight or early morning.
Thanks in advance.
Tom

It think this is right. Just rename the VOB files on the DVD to .mpg. They are already mpg. You are losing a generation of quality by rendering them as mpg again. If you need to combine them or edit them in some way, then I'd render the mpg as avi (should not lose any quality), do the editing and then render them as mpg again for the final DVD.

Read these links. Might help:

Thank you. I rendered to avi edited and then back to mpeg and it worked fine. Don't know what I would have done.
