Huh!
Way to go BillyBoy......"coverin' the audio stuff"! Good timing(for me anyway)! I'll have to set this up, maybe combine with a touch of this Waves Stereo Imager plugin on some mono recorded wave files.

Mucho Thanks!
Oh, & your web site's looking/working good too!

Your tutorial covers more ground, but do you know there is a preset for pseudo stereo already in Vegas? It's under the simple delay FX. While it does nothing for your background singers, it adds a bit of room. That is often enough to liven up a soundtrack.
To use it you must first right-click on your sound event, move to channels and select Combined.

On some cameras you can record one microphone to two channels, setting them at different levels - one optimistic and one safe. In that case you select left or right.

BillyBoy, your tutorials are (still) keeping me away from things I ought to be doing.

Somehow, it still amazes me that SoFo has such an excellent User Forum (this one) benefiting from so many excellent contributors (us ...) and does not have a User File Area.

What we have is that every Vegas Guru (not me) that *wants* to help the most destitute (me for sure) must go through the trouble of finding/building a file area, fill it, publicize it and maintain it.
And, most naturally, some of us always loose something... I have the odd feeling that there may be some cornucopia of goodies lurking somewhere and I am just missing it because I am not aware.

Come on, SoFo ! Wake up ! This is to your own interest, you know ... just look around and see if this Forum isn't one of the strongest Vegas assets.

And, of course, you would define the rules of use ...

There are great tutorials on Billy's site, and on my site, http://www.sundancemediagroup.com/help/download.html
It would be nice if there were a clearing house for all of these, but for SOFO to track them might be a nightmare. If Billy will allow it, we'll link to his from our site as well. We're linked to MANY tutorial sites on our pages.

Yeah, you're right: "It would be nice if there were a clearing house for all of these, but for SoFo to track them might be a nightmare". It might, indeed, but that's what the competition is doing.

Like I said in another posting, see what the competition is doing:

or: start here and navigate:

see what I mean ?

Yes, if Billy could link to Douglas's site and we could get Marty Helders stuff there too then you would pretty much have everything under one umbrella----

I realize SOFO might benefit if they did this, and am not arguing. We've already linked to most of the Vegas sites on the web from our downloads pages. You are welcome to view them at
http://www.sundancemediagroup.com/help/download.html
if you wish. Perhaps SOFO will link to that page, or will grab the tut's that others have written.

Would be nice if there was a central page, till there is, if there ever is, AFAIK people from this forum that have web sites dealing with Vegas Video and Video Factory are the following. Unless anyone objects, I'll link to all of the following from my web site to yours. Feel free to do the same if you so wish. :-)

Is there anyone else that should be included?

Bill:(tutorials)

Joe:(forum, tutorials)

Kelly:(user's share videos)

Sundance: (veg files, demos etc.)

That's it for what I was aware of, but I hadn't included Satish, but will now. Gary Gowman had a place, but I can't find it now.
