TV spot to view (produced in Vegas)

Just finished up a :30 tv spot for our radio station. It's pretty basic, but I was pretty happy with it. Would love any suggestions for enhancements/critiques...etc.

find the spot at this link:

It's titled TV Spot-music video-image (just ignore the other stuff in the folder)

Thanks for viewing

Other than maybe giving the cityscape some zip with high speed motion to capture/continue the attitude of "drive," it's a good spot. At first it threw me, because B101 used to be a client of ours until they were bought by the Simmons Group.

Does a radio station have the right to use artist material like that for TV? Maybe start off the artist stuff in a small window that expands into full screen then fades into the next one from opposite side.

Maybe get out of the crow video a hair sooner, saw some frames of something, and add some shadow or depth to the red or burgundy font .
Arm chair quarterbacking is easy,
I think it is a good spot

Arm chair quaterbacking is easy. But, you know what, great suggestion about the fonts. The more I look at them I think...blah.

Thanks again

Chrisconley, very nice 30sec clip. Great audio. Changing the Fonts is a good idea, but also consider enlarging the station call sign. Since this a local broadcast, B101 should dominate the city shot. You should view your 30s clip on a tv with other 15,30 clips and see if you easliy remember the call sign.

I just did a little post work for a B station in N'awlins, be careful of that yellow. If it's the same yellow in the spot we had, it's way outside broadcast.

Nice ad though.

Excellent!

Just watch your "Maintain Aspect Ratio" in your clips... some of the footage (most notably Elton John) is not hitting the edges. Unchecking that box in pan/crop will fix that, or so I've found. Maybe there's a more "correct" way, but that works for me. I wish I could make it unchecked as a default. Anyone know a way?
