At first when i tried to 'print to tape' using my Sony TRV340E Digital 8 camcorder i would get a second or 2 of flickery video with no auido, then i enabled 'DMA' and that helped alot but i can only get a few seconds of perfect video and audio b4 the screen goes blue on the camcorder and Video Factory 2.0c stops responding sometimes ....

Can anyone suggest some more settings i can change that might help ?

If you have more than one hard disk, make sure DMA is enabled for ALL hard disks.

Press Ctrl-Alt-Del and end every task except Systray and Explorer (I assume you are running Windows 9x. You will have to repeat the Ctrl-Alt-Del process for each task you end).

Make sure you have DirectX 8.0 or higher (you can find the DirectX version by using the System Information utility, which can be found in the Accessories folder).

Paulo780,
I just figured out a problem I was having printing to tape. The file would only go for a few seconds, then stop. What I discovered is that I had a loop above the timeline and that caused VF to think I only wanted to print that loop to tape. I had to uncheck the print only the loop box just after selecting print to tape option. Probably not the problem for you but a simple fix if it is. Good luck.
