Twixtor crashing VEGAS rendering process

So, I have the following bug. Most of the times twixtor works perfectly fine. However, sometimes on seemingly random clips it just starts crashing the rendering process. Preview, prerendering, all works perfectly fine, but as soon as I click rendering it crashes at the same clip at the same frame every time I try. I had this problem for years, new versions of Twixtor and even had a new PC in the meantime. Nothing fixed this problem. Only way to solve it is either using an adjustment track (has it's donwsides when having multiple clips simultaniasly) or cutting the same clip out of the source material and redo Twixtor. Can somebody explain to me what's going on?

Ps. I have not tried out other programs (Premiere, Davinci), only VEGAS

@aEisbaer Hi, I don't know about Twixter but Boris's S_Retime struggles on my machine with MP4 Constant fps, it does ok for a moment but then crashes Vegas, if I convert the clip to ProRes it performs much better, it won't play at full speed without Dynamic Ram Preview but doesn't crash, so i don't know what is going on but maybe it's tripping up or getting confused on the GOP? 🤷‍♂️

Tbh I never tried anything beside mp4 since all clips I work with are gameclips. I just don't understand why it always crashes at one specific frame. Something is going wrong but idk what :/
