First, when you "mix to track", you do lose db's on the new
track. Hope this is fixed in 2.0
Also, I would like to be able to take advantage of my two
monitors. It would be nice to drag the trimmer or the mixer
to the other monitor to make longer where I could also see
more tracks on monitor number one.

You can already use multiple monitors with win 98 (and I think NT). I
have done it with 1.0 and 2.0 successfully.
As for the loss of dB I have experienced this too but not all the
time so I'm not sure it isn't a gain reduction somewhere in my
settings (track, bus, fx, etc.)

The lost of DB Normally happens if the bus you assign to it is below
0.0, you have a effect that the output is turned down on, or the
track is turned down. I experienced this issue and then checked all
my settings for the tracks and after setting everything to zero or
higher found that it effected the db on the mixed track.
I also run two monitors and have the mixer, trimmer, clock on my
second monitor. You just click on the doouble line on the front
sside of the window you want to drag and it will at one point while
dragging become it's own window. At that point you can move it to
your second monitor and adjust the size.
