On a more "Peace to all" level

My editing and video work is on indefinite hiatus and hence my participation here has dropped.
But that doesn't mean I can't thank all of you from I have learned much over the years and wish everyone...

Merry Blissings for the Holly (or Holy) Daze,

Clicked the first one - "This video contains content from Vevo who has decided to block it in your country."

I don't know who you are, Vevo, but thanks for nothing.

Second one played fine - very enjoyable, thanks.

OK, sorry about that, the Dylan played fine in the U.S. (where I iz).

So to hell with Vevo version, I replaced it with another YouTube version.
Hopefully it's accessible to anyone anywhere.

Thanks, enjoyed muchly.

As for the Xmas thing and my tardy reply.
Have you noticed how 25th December automatically becomes a deadline in client's eyes?

Anyway one job done, clients have left happy even though one got stung by my guardian wasp :)

One of those jobs that reminded me why I like Vegas (6) so much. The whole deal recordering VOs to backing tracks, madly building projects and routing audio to cans, even got a control room feed into their cans, neat. The girls were great, all had good voices but one of the young lads has a voice that sounds like the mic's on the fritz.

Bob.

Thanks Philip - that played much better.

That Dylan Christmas album is one of the more bizarre of recent times!

Still, I guess the whole thing is bizarre...

You're both welcome.

As far as Bob Dylan, well, he never was someone that fit in anyone's box of "normal" or "predictable," to say the least. While his already low voice range is getting even raspier and I personally still am stuck back in the "Like a Rolling Stone" days, one has to give him credit for keep-on-keeping on.

And that polka is pretty catchy stuff, however odd it may be also .
A phunny Holiday song, fo' sho'.

Philip - if you get a chance, listen to Tell Tale Signs, released a couple of years ago - it contains examples of some surprisingly mellow Dylan vocals, and some beautiful songwriting. e.g. Mississippi, Girl from the Red River Shore, Born in Time.
