UI issues in Vegas 18

Shady wrote on 8/14/2020, 10:07 AM

I am having issues with the UI getting jumbled up. Things stretching and blurring.

A small sample in this image. Note the blurred button on the left and the missing buttons on right....

These change as the mouse cursor moves over them. It will continue to get worse as you use.

It is also not all parts of Vegas 18. So far I see it in the color adjustment and its happening when scrolling transitions panel.

Note: I tried many many different fixes....gpu/cpu...high dpi....etc...

What is the resolution of your monitor?

Shady wrote on 8/14/2020, 10:34 AM

3840*2160

I have tried adjusting the scaling...etc..

Also note that it's only certain UI's within Vegas. Like the color wheels and transitions. Everything else

looks and runs fine.

I've seen similar complaints on Facebook but on a separate monitor.

I doubt that this is a driver issue -

Can you try disabling DPI scaling?

Others having the exact same trouble in this forum..."Reporting bugs in Vegas Pro 18 to Magix" has this listed

@Shady We have seen similar problems for different products here

The UI is hardware accelerated by using .Net WPF. The problem is that some drivers and software are able to take the GPU focus like the Sonic Suite by ASUS Rog.

Are you able to see the "NahimicOSD.dll" in your list? Please open the power shell in windows and run

[system.diagnostics.process]::GetCurrentProcess().Modules | where { $_.modulename -match “NahimicOSD.dll”}

Thank you! I uninstalled the Sonic Suite software and everything works good now :)
