Ultimate S 2.o again

Hi again,
I am on a fairly steep learning curve with Vegas, I have now purchased Ultimate S and have just used it on a current project. It work just fine, but as it produces a P in P for each event on the tracks designated as Cam one, Cam two etc, but it has also change every other event on those tracks.
How do I return these back to how they were originally.
I think I may have gone wrong; perhaps I should have put the two events for multicam use on separate tracks?
Any help graciously recieved
Ken

Ken,
if you're doing multicam, you need to have a separate track for each camera, that's the only way you can sync up separate cameras.
So, if you did a two camera shoot, then you need to have two tracks.
You can watch a video of how to set up and process multicam here.

Thanks for the reply again DCE,
I have found that I will have to recenter and resize all the events which have been effected, not a major task, rectify one of the events and then past the atributes over serveral events in one go, up to the point where the multicam master track takes over. Still I shall know for next time.

You can simply press the REMOVE PIP button on the QuadCAM tab of Ultimate S2. It will remove the PIP on all of the camera tracks.

Hi Johnyroy,
I have tried pressing the remove P in P button but it does not seem to do anything,

Remove PIP works on the tracks that are selected as cameras in QuadCAM. It will not affect any other tracks. Make sure your camera tracks that have the PIP are selected as cameras 1, 2, 3 or 4. After you press Remove PIP you will not see any change in the preview until you press Cancel to exit Ultimate S. That’s when Vegas updates the view. (note: InfinitiCAM updates immediately and the next version of Ultimate S will too)

CAUTION: Remove PIP will remove ALL Pan/Crop settings for all the events on the camera tracks. I have had people try and do multi-cam edits in the middle of a project where the camera tracks were used for other events in other parts of the project and then complain that their crop settings were changed in the non-multi-cam parts. Nothing should be on the multi-cam camera tracks except the multi-cam footage. Vegas has unlimited tracks… use them! ;-)
