Ultimate S and 8.1

Before I screw something up I have a question. I install both 8.0c and 8.1 onto my Vista 64-bit system and they both run fine so far. I have Ultimate S 4 and it seems to be fine in 8.0c. How do I get it so show up in 8.1? Do I need to re-install it as a second instance on my machine?

Similar question with the noise reduction plug-in...

From other postings about 8.1 and 64bit vista, currently Ultimate is not able to function as a plugin with the 64bit vegas. It seems that VASST Ultimate programmer/s had no early access to 8.1. So, its not really fair to expect Ultimate to work with 8.1 this early in the release time line.

Well done Sony. Don't let the guys that plug plenty of the holes in your platform have any versions of your new software to develop with.

Good work.

Yea we got Vegas 8.1 the same time you guys did and we are working on a plan to see what it would take to make all of the VASST script plug-ins work with Vegas 8.1. It will probably take some time before we know what the total impact is.

Thanks, good to know that there may be an update in the future to get the tool to work.

8.1 is a freebie so I think criticism on 3rd party plug-ins should be on the lite side. Otherwise you could be like me and wait 6 months or so before using it.

lol, thats exactly it. The Sony developers are sitting there, reading this thinking. Weve given them this, before any other vendor and for free, its our first go and people are giving us s**t.

I think its a fantastic offering, I look forward to trying it just as soon as my 'must have' plugins support it.
