Ultimate S Solution? dissappearing icon

I dont know if this a permanent solution, but after getting fed up with having to reload the UltS icon in the tool bar everytime I opened Vegas, I tried something.
I had tried reducing my script icons to only Tsunami,Excal,Neon, and Ult S
but each time I closed Vegas and reopened Ult S was Ultimately Gone.
I tried different orders of the icons, saving the default untitled veg file with the icons, but to no avail....Ultimate S would not come back, Ex,Ts & N always returned.
Now I know this is really on the Vegas end of things that its occurring, and not the Plugs,but..I did notice even after adding Ult S icon then selecting "rescan script folder" would make it disapper again.
Now Ultimate E was getting Ultimately frustrated.
Sooo....I remembered that the disappearing icons thing has plauged others before with the other plugs like Tsunami, so doing a search I found this thread:
http://mediasoftware.sonypictures.com/forums/ShowMessage.asp?ForumID=4&MessageID=300672

alright I'll cut to the chase,
I went in to the sony\vegas5\Script Menu folder and renamed the VASST Ultimate S folder to: vasst ultimate s

and now when I open Vegas ...there it sits, the Ult S Icon in its rightfull place sitting at the toolbar table with his other buddies Tsu,Excal, and Neon.

Seems like Vegas and CAPITAL LETTERS dont always get along, ie:TITLE and now this?
Maybe it just doesnt like being yelled at? :)

Maybe if someone else is having the same problem the can try the same,
I havent done the same with the other Ult S subicons(film looks etc.)
But JohnnyRoy, Spot , if your reading this maybe you can investigate .
And thanks Edward for the idea.

I thought we'd discovered it's related to Vegas and the number of scripts you can have accessed, but perhaps that's wrong. I've changed the number of scripts in the folder, and no longer have the problem, but I'll try renaming the folder and putting back the other scripts.

Everyone’s finding seem to concur that the number of scripts in the \Script Menu\ folder and below seems to be the determining factor but I have heard that renaming upper case to lower or even from lower case to upper has made icons stick.

If there is a limit to the number of scripts then Ultimate S could put you over the limit because it ships with 10 scripts. The main UltimateS.js script and then one script for each of the 9 pages in the interface. If you don’t use the direct access scripts, you might want to rename them *.js.txt to reduce the number of scripts by 9. That could be enough to make the icons stick again. Perhaps I should make this an option on the installation.

Whatever it is, I do hope Sony plans to fix it.
