UltimateS 2 generates errors in FilmLooks

I just upgraded to UltimateS 2.

I uninstalled my previous version, and allowed the new version to install itself where it wanted to.

Now when I go into Vegas and try to use the UltS "Film Looks", this message comes up initially, and again every time I select one of the looks from the list:
----------------------
Ultimate S2 - Warning
Could not load image - Invalid parameter
----------------------
This is apparently a bug in the new UltS release, yes??

Earthrisers, did you install the new version of the FilmLooks? If you take a look at your install file information, you'll see there that you need a new version of ReelPak 1. We had to alter the way these load for any number of reasons. Email support@vasst.com and they'll get you taken care of.

Yea, for anyone that has ReelPak-1, you should contact us for instructions on what to do BEFORE you install any of the new software (this is explained in the ReadMeFirst file that is in the initial ZIP file that you download). That’s because uninstalling the old ReelPak-1 later may undo some of the installation of the newer software.

So the procedure is:

1. Uninstall the old copy of ReelPak-1
2. Uninstall the old copy of Ultimate S 1.0 or Celluloid 1.0
3. Install the new versions of Ultimate S 1.1, Celluloid 1.1 or Ultimate S 2.0
4. Install the new ReelPak-1.

This should keep things clean.

Thanks for the tips... still a problem, though.

I uninstalled the version2 upgrade and started over, and did all the steps you listed.

ReelPak-1 still won't work -- its License Installer says it's accepted my license number, but when I try to get to Film Looks within UltS, it says my license number is invalid. (It's the license number I just got when I installed UltimateS version 2.)
Something still seems broken here...

Are you giving the Ultimate S2 license key to ReelPak-1? That won’t work. ReelPak-1 is a separate add-on product with a separate key. (I know it wasn’t like that before but it is now) Did you sent an email to VASST as Spot suggested and did we send you back an email with a ReelPak-1 license key? If not, please do so and we will send you a key for ReelPak-1.

I sent e-mail to VASST describing the problem, but there's been no response so far.

I'll try again, citing the advice you gave in your most recent posting.

Thank you,

Ernie
