You can delete all the pieces to the right of the first split, then drag the first section back out to where the last section ended.

OR

Use Unsplit Wizard in Excalibur .

Also, if it's good as is and you just want it to "move" together, you can selet both parts and group them together.

Two ways:

1) Delete the second clip and extend the first clip to fill that area

2) Use the "Unsplit Wizard" in Excalibur

Ah! The delete and extend choice is so obvious (now that you point it out to me!) I understood that behavior before but didn't put 2 and 2 together.

Okay, I did it and my project it SOOOOO much neater now. Thanks!

I have no idea what Excalibur is. Do I want to know? :)

It's a program Gary and Jetdv put together, it's a collection of handy scripts for Vegas. It's $48.50

You can find it at vegastoolsandtraining.com

Ho yes! Best buy I've made for Vegas . . . If only for the Orphan Wizard . . . AND don't forget the MultiCam Wizard WITH transitions . . . majestic Set o' Tools . . . especially for this "messy" editor - HAH!

A lot of John Meyer's scripts are good too (and free).

Check this forum topic:

Yes, and a lot of my scripts are free as well - for example, the FilmLook Plugin and the handful I have on the Sundance and Creative Cow sites. However, we've tried to make the commercial plugins more powerful, tons of options, a clean interface, and tons of debugging and error catching that are not present in many of the "little" scripts.

Thanks! Looks like great stuff. I didn't realize that there were all of these "add on" capabilities. I'll have to sort through what's available and see what I need.
