Unable to Import Media

I looked through the topics but couldn't find an answer.

Sorry guys I have just upgraded my hardware and now Vegas Movie Studio won't import my media

I am trying to import media to Movie studio and it comes up with an error

"The File Format Plugin for the specified format was not Properly initialized"

I need to be able to edit my films.

Can anyone help?

Well, without knowing the format of the files you are trying to import, it's anybody's guess. Complete MediaInfo, please.
Have you installed Quicktime?

Did you have to reinstall MS? If not, you may need to.

That particular message means you need to install QuickTime, or you don't have a version installed that MS will work with. The info on that message box should tell you what version you need.
