Unable to load program to start a project

Hi....I just bought Vegas Pro Edit v17...I was able to load the data and register the program, but when I click the program to load it, it starts to load, and then starts loading hundreds of my music editing plugins that it finds on my hard drive.....it finally crashes at different points in each attempt to load. I don't really need or want all of the music plug-ins, just the default items from Vegas Pro Edit 17....Any ideas to help me get this program to successfully load? By the way, I am using it on a Windows computer with 32 gB of RAM, speed 3.40 Ghz.....64 bit OS x64 processor...thanks for any help you can provide....
