I have an "mpeg2" (.mpg) file which was sent to me by a video conversion service.
When I attempt to open it in Vegas I get "The file is an unsupported type".
Clicking on "more details" just says "the file could not be opened.
It opens and plays just fine in DVD Architect (!), Windows Media Player, Quicktime.
Other .mpg are OK in Vegas

File properties 720x480, 6000kbps, 29 fps (in explorer)
I've checked the settings (shift-preferences/internal) and it's set to only use Vegas codecs.
I've tried renaming it to .mp2, .mpeg2
