I just captured a HDV tape that was around 45 minutes the file size is somewhere around 8GB. VMSP 7 sees the file in the explorer tab.
When I go to select the file the program hangs for 10 - 20 seconds then highlights the file.
I go to drag the file onto the time line VMSP hangs for another 10 - 20 seconds then nothing happens.
I've browsed into the hard drive that the file is stored on and have "successfully" been able to play it, so I then right clicked on the file and selected open with > VMSP, the program opens hangs and then displays a messages saying that it was unable to open the file
I have other .m2t files, ranging in length from 30 to over 60 minutes which open fine.
Did the file get corrupted or is there something else going on?
