Unable to Print to Tape

When I click on Print to Tape, the box comes up with OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394/DV but there is no Decive show and my camera is attached to the computer. Unable to slect the camera and if I click the next buttom it advised that no decive selected.

Any suggestions?

have you ptt before, did it work?

what are you trying to ptt?

what version vegas?

Yes I have done it before but it has been a while.

What I am trying to do is print to tape a program I rendered in Vegas Pro 9.

The last time was in version 8 but over a year ago.

I have a firewire connected to the computer from the camera. Itr see the camera for capture but not the PTT that area is completely greyed out.

if hd it has to be exactly to spec. i generally render the tl out and print from that.
