Uneven scrolling keyframes

Hi guys,

Hopefully I am just missing something simple, but I would appreciate your help.

I am using VMS 6 Platinum, and by searching the forum I have found that keyframes are great for producing scrolling credits, but I have encountered a problem. I want to insert a photo that will scroll with the credits about midway through. I have the credits in the Video track, and the photo in the Video Overlay track, and have set up the keyframes and pan/scroll to scroll from bottom to top.

Unfortunately, the photo either scrolls too slowly at first and then plays catch-up, or if I play with the various settings, it scrolls too fast. Is there any way to get them to scroll at the same speed? The credits are 25 seconds long and the photo scrolls fop 5 seconds in the middle.

Thanks in advance for any help,

Jon

Right-mouse-button click on the keyframes and make sure that smoothness is set to 0.0. Also make sure they're set to "linear" instead of fast or slow or whatever other choices are listed.

Thanks for the quick reply. I double checked my settings to make sure they were set as you suggest, but still had the problem, and then.... Just as I was getting ready to give up, I found something that seems to work. I set the length of the Photo event to be the same as the Credit Roll event, then set the keyframes for the Photo event so it would scroll over the screen at the right time. Eureka!! So far it seems to be working.
