Ungroup

I purchased this program as an update to Video Factory. Although there isn't much difference between the programs, I can not find a solution to ungrouping a group of video. First of all, this program seems to automatically group items together, where in the older program I would group as desired. I have selected the still pictures that I wish to ungroup, choose group and the ungroup is greyed out. I have also tried clicking on the "U" for ungroup and the pictures still want to move as a group. What I am doing wrong??? I have made several videos with the older versions, but this program is making me pull my hair out!

Sounds like you and Reygoto are in the same boat. After you select the events to ungroup (if they are actually grouped in the first place) you need to click away from them to seperate them or they will still act as though they are 'grouped' because they are selected together. Also, look at the top of the menu bar for the icon that says to 'Ignore Event Grouping' Let us know. Cin

I think the key here is "video factory", which is a very ancient version. Video factory didn't have autoripple. Turn off auto ripple and things may operation the way you're expecting them to.

However, autoripple is an extremely useful addition so it would be good to learn what it does so that you can make use of it.
