when I start vegas it keeps popping up saying it's not installed correctly. Duh, I uninstalled it! So why does vegas keep saying I should reinstall it.
Worst part is that the vegas startup halts until I hit the "ok" button.
By any chance did you uninstall it while Vegas was still running? Note: sometimes Vegas doesn't exit memory when it is closed and is still an active process even though it can't be seen. This would cause Vegas to have the DLL locked so that the uninstaller cannot remove it.
The easiest thing to try is to reboot your computer to be sure that Vegas is not in memory. Then Install Production Assistant again. Then uninstall it. This time it should uninstall cleanly. If not let me know what Operating System you are using and I'll tell you where to look for the DLL so that you can remove it manually.
i must of uninstalled it while vegas was still loaded. Now it doesn't pop up (followed your instructions). another strange thing though: I was having an "issue" with vegas not showing up in the task bar once loaded until I made it the focus. Now it shows up fine. This was happening before I installed the PA trial too, so no clue what happened!
