Uninstalling Sony Vegas Movie Studio

Hi, new here - Can ANYONE please help? I had the shortcut in a Movie folder which accidently got deleted. Since then nothing I could do would allow the program to run again. So, I uninstalled the whole programme and reinstalled it (or tried). I have now tried eleven times. Every time a shortcut appears on the desktop, then the installation says 'Rolling back' and an error :1603 during Installation message appears! It's driving me crazy, I need to create a video A.S.A.P. Can anyone help? PLEEZE!

Hey screwball, welcome to the forum.

What version of VMS and Windows?

There may be bits of VMS still on your PC that the install doesn't like. This knowledgebase item may help:

Try uninstalling and then running ccleaner to remove vestigial traces in the registry. Then reinstall VMS
