Vegas catches an exception when rendering to mpeg2 using the DVD PAL template with the following custom adjustments.
Video size 352x576 (PAL CDV format)
Constant bit rate of 2,520,000
Error message says unknown error. On most occasions the application does not crash but sometimes freezes if error is not reported.
All the other settings are left as is. This apparently is within the legal DVD settings. The same project renders fine when these two settings are not altered. This works in vegasvideo30c_bld138.
This error is reproduceable on my system with different sources (Pal DV - interlaced). The render is for a 15 minutes video.
Interested to learn if others are experiencing similar problems with non default settings. New features of V4 make it a worthwhile upgrade.
