Unselected Event On TL Is Pink...Why?

Jay Gladwell wrote on 2/19/2010, 1:04 PM

I've got a short project, a little over five minutes, on the timeline.

One of the clips and its audio is pink (actually the video portion is more red, but the audio portion is definitely pink). However, the event is not selected. The file is MXF with moderate color grading applied.

Any ideas as to what's going on here?

TIA

Pink audio usually means the sound is out of sync.

I've never seen that before, James, I'll check it out.

Thanks for the info!

Yep, that it was it--one frame off. Somewhere along the way I must turned off Ignore Event Grouping by accident and bumped the video some way.

I didn't realize that having the sound out of sync would create a pink warning. That's good to know.

Thanks, James!

I'm real partial to the "pink syncs" and the "blue snaps".
