Unusual Error During Rendering

Arthur-P wrote on 12/31/2024, 5:22 AM

When rendering a 30 minute video, about 70% of the way through the process, an error appears. I tried the most popular methods on this forum, but they did not help. I was able to complete the rendering in three separate parts and then stitch them together into a full clip, but this method doesn't work for me.

Update: I was able to complete the rendering after I removed the "adjustment event" which had two effects "sharpen" and "loot filter". The only reason for installing Vegas 21 is the new "adjustment event" feature, which cannot be used on large projects. This is very annoying.

Did you test with just removing one or the other effect in the adjustment event?

You might also test it in VEGAS Pro 22.

Проводили ли вы тестирование, просто удалили один или другой эффект в событии корректировок?

Вы также можете протестировать его в VEGAS Pro 22.

No, I didn't test every effect. But it seems to me that the problem is due to the "sharpness" effect. I spent so much time fixing the bug that I got tired of it.

So your issue could have been the "Sharpness" effect and not the "Adjustment event"...

The question remains how to solve this problem so that the "Sharpness" effect can be used?

Instead of using an adjustment event for applying two fx to your project, try the other options: like adjustment track or just track fx or easiest project output fx.

What about the unsharp mask Fx?

Doesn't give IMO not the same effect as the sharpness FX. It's what you prefer, I also don't like the AI sharpen.

The long duration of the Adjustment Event is what's causing you this issue in that version.... Remove that adjustment event and Instead drag those filters unto the preview screen, thus similarly affecting everything on the timeline.

I need the effects to be on individual video fragments, not on the entire video track. That's why I used adjustment event

@Arthur-P We totally understand that but I believe this problem with adjustment events was fixed in VP 22.

Steve_Rhoden wrote on 1/6/2025, 1:59 PM

@Arthur-P Well i was only suggesting a work-around, since there is a known problem with long durations of the adjustment event feature in Vegas 21.... However the issue was resolved in the newest versions of Vegas 22.
