Forgive me if these topics have been covered before but I was having some troubles rendering to bluray with Vegas Platinum 9 and thought that perhaps one of you may have an answer for me. These are my troubles:
1.I am unable to create a Main concept mpeg2 or AVCHD bluray image file if I use 5.1 surround sound from a Sony AVCHD camcorder (HDR TG-1) plus mono sound from a second source to replace the centre channel. Standard def 5.1 surround is no problem. This is one of the error reports I get: TSWrapper.dll::CTSwrapper::ProcThreadMain::Failed to read esl file.-The ES file may be shorter than the size described in the MUI file.
Sometimes it will just freeze in the middle of audio rendering.
I am able to make the bluray image and burn to bluray disc if the audio is simple stereo.
2.When creating a stereo bluray final dvd, there is little bit of 'flicker' in motion scenes that was not evident in the original video or while editing. It's the same with upper field first and with progressive scan settings. The projet setting is matched to the original AVCHD video
3.I believe I have a pretty fast computer but with a couple of enhancements while editing (deform/color adjust or sharpness/zoom), a 90 minute project can take 12-15 hours to render. Is that normal considering my computer specs below?
My laptop computer is a Sony Vaio Intel core i7 Q720 @1.6Ghz, 4.00G RAM, 64 bit operating, Windows 7 Pro, 500G HD with what I believe is a Sony bluray burner and I use the Main concept MPEG2, bluray 1440x1080-60i, 25Mbs stream preset to render.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Best wishes,
Lucio
