I own, and use, several pieces of video editing software. By far the best are those provided by Magix.
I regularly use Movie Edit Pro. Unfortunately the Magix programmers have the latest video cards etc and the latest update
will not work with my older system so I won't be updating again as I can't afford a new expensive PC.
As a result I've run my Vegas programme and note that there is an update.
What concerns me is, is the Vegas programme modified by the same software engineers?
Will they delete my VSTs (used with Samplitude and other audio DAWs?)
Will they delete my transitions (some paid for)?
Will they move the folder or delete content (again!) so my software can't find VSTs?
Will Vegas boot up (As Movie Edit Pro annoyingly does) if I insert a recorded DVD?
I've used Magix software for many years and find it excellent. Unfortunately, someone
is "hitting the bottle" and making life difficult .
I'll buy the Vegas update but I don't want to uninstall and reinstall the previous version
if my folders are amended. I've lost several transitions and several VSTs by upgrading.
This is very annoying when they were paid for.
I'd like advice before I continue.
Kind regards to all and I hope you are avoiding the virus.
