Update Offer Problem

Hi everbody,

Have been a Vegas user while it was still from Sony. Used an old version for a long time but last month i bought Magix Movie Studio 17 Platinum. When i start it up i get an offer to upgrade tot Vegas Pro for only $99. When i click it i get redirected to the shoppingcart on Magix website. When i want to go to pay (want to pay thru paypal) then i get the message:

"Dear Customer. For legal reasons, a purchase from the United States Shop is only possible if the location of the invoice receiver is not located in an EU country. If you are located in the EU, please select a suitable offer from another localization. We appreciate the extra effort."

Magix knows i am an European since i registered my version of Movie Studio 17 Platinum. So why do they offer me an upgrade? Or is there a way around that i can get it? $399 is al little to high for my budget but i would like to upgrade to Pro for $99 or €99. Anyone have an idea how i could do that?

Friendly regards,

Kevin

At the top RH corner of MAGIX's webpage, there is is a globe icon. Click on it and change the country selection to your country. If not listed, select 'International'. I imagine this a way to ensure that the applicable VAT/TVA/GST is applied to your purchase.

Thanks Dexcon, however, in the Magix Online Shop there is no globe in the right upper corner. Also i find it odd that it would be because of VAT/TVA/GST. I order a lot from the US online (thru Amazon and Ebay) and i never have any problems with buying anything. Magix is the first one ever that gives me this problem..

Any other idea how i could get the offer? Of anyone else?
