Update on render test V6 vs V7

As previously posted I did a comparison rendering the VAST veg in V6 and V7 in which V6 was several seconds faster. I just installed the updated version of V7 and redid the test. V7a was a full minute faster than V7. Anybody else finding similar results with V7a?

never had 7 just 7a, it is running a couple a seconds faster than 6 using the old render test from DSE , runnin on an antique 2.17 ghz machine

Running 7a.

V6 Best - 1:03 ----- V7 Best - 1:02
V6 Good - :38 ----- V7 Good - :37

Slightly faster. P4 3.2 HT

What about using filters like gaussian blur? It seems that some filters were optimized more than others.

just start testing vegas 7, noticed that 3d space rendering is a lot faster when previewing vs vegas6. If this holds true, Vegas7 is a winner on workflow.
