Update scopes while playing (live update)

I might have missed something (I often do). How do I get the scoped to update during playback?

There is an icon that looks like a bar graph to the right of where you select the scope type. If you hover your mouse over it, it will say Update Scopes while Playing. Press that button to make the scopes update during playback.
