Update to Vegas 5

I have Vegas 4 installed in my computer and I want to install Vegas 5. How an I do that? Will my existing projects (created with Vegas 4) be lost?
What are he steps for this new installation?

I have both V4 and V5 installed on same pc.

You can open V4 projects in V5 - BUT if used, saved will then only reopen in V5. Install steps I really think are exactly the same. There are other folders - script menu etc. But V5 just installed straight off.

Vegas 4 projects will open in Vegas 5 but will be SAVED as Vegas5. You will then not be able to open them in Vegas4.

You will most likely be prompted during installation to put the program .NETfx on your computer. This can be downloaded from the Vegas site under downloads/utilities, I think. Anyway, it's there.
