Your instructions say you have to un-install a previous different Cineform product before installing Neo Scene. So I take it that you can install a Neo Scene update over Neo Scene without un-installing Neo Scene. Sorry for another dumb question.

JJK - just uninstall - don't deactivate. It works every time I've done an update so far. I just install back to the same directory as the previous install and then run HD link to confirm. No issues for me doing it this way.

That is key, Don't Deactivate, that is only for moving a license to a new PC.

It is only recommended that you uninstall first (it takes only 10 seconds -- i.e. fast.) This helps prevent you getting a hybrid version, mixing new and old. In most cases you can install the new directly over the old without issue. Uninstalling is just a precaution.

David - it appears there are some issues with this latest release of NEO Scene and VP9 64bit. I installed the latest update, but my AVI's no longer show video - only audio (Vegas says they are offline). I then tried to run the Repair utility only to get a message saying it couldn't be found.

I uninstalled and reverted back to the previous version and now my CF AVI's have video - but still no CFRepair.vbs script.

I can confirm. The latest Neo Scene version 1.3.6 does not work with Vegas Pro 9.0 64-bit. I only get audio too. I had to uninstall it and revert back to 1.3.5 which still works fine in both 32 & 64-bit.

We aren't having any problems on XP64 or Vista64, as these all Window 7 systems? Please report to support so we can get this addressed quickly.

I am on Vista 64 SP2. Neo Scene 1.3.5 works... 1.3.6 doesn't.

Found that a recent Visual Studio automatic update (ggrrr!) required we change the version of our Microsoft distribution DLLs causing this snafu. Same code, new redist files.

Before we go out to everyone please give this direct link a try:

Please offer feedback ASAP.
