Updating Movie studio 17.0 Platinum - 501 mb

I have several times downloaded the update for Movie studio 17.0 about 501 MB. After downloading, a option appears update immediately or after program starts. I chose immediately - nothing happens the program terminates. Again I download 501mb and I chose the other option - same problem the program terminates. I am unable to update the program. Kindly help. It is legally purchased and registered and besides, I have full administrator access of my personal PC.

The only option I always see is to register the new update.
Therefor the program goes to the Magix internet site to do that.
Probably with you not possible through a Windows or browser setting that gives no permission on programs to download or connect to the internet.
You have to look where is blocked and than you must allow it for this program.
